Hi I own a Vento Diesel for 8 years now and service cost per anum is 13k around in Kolkata. Virtus is petrol so should be less - but tell you one thing if you get regular service done VW group cars can last very very long without giving any trouble.

Rushikesh, Suzuki Across/Toyota rav4 will take long time to come. It will be priced above s cross. Probably starting at 15 lakh. If its hybrid, maybe it cost 20 lakh. Suzuki s cross is a good option if you are choosing petrol. New model will come in few months. Taigun is better in terms of FE than astor. But astor have a smooth 4 cylinder(on non turbo version), cool looks and lots of features. But i suggest taigun due to its better suv stance and brand value. Creta base diesel is a good option. Its just 25k sbove taigun base but gives excellent FE. Cretas ride is cozy and upgradation options are very high. Only issue is its subjective looks.

TLDR if you are money conscious, take creta diesel as it has low running cost, better tank range and better resale value. Or you can go for taigun which cones with a loaded base model, better driving pleasure and style

My Taigun 1.0 AT Topline covered around 4,000 KM....Not got anything more than 8KM/L on highway (as per the car's data)... full tank it's 360KM max which is basically around 7.1 KM/L ...Disappointed with the mileage , squeaks and rattles for a 20 lac car ....Drive feel is good but not VW quality...make in india should not be the attitude 'this is more than enough for Indians' ...insult right to our faces

I want to share my ownership experience with taigun Taigun is the worst car in my family I drove polo for 7 years which was fantastic But this car so uncomfortable that I am selling it in 3 months of purchase Reasons I can't drive it - it hurts my leg after driving for just 1 hour where as I can still drive my Diesel polo for 4-5 hours with no worries Taigun has heavy clutch and high engagement making it so uncomfortable to drive, seats are not comfortable, you go to service centre they say yeh toh aisa hi h app chalao sir ,and even they don't have its new clutch if I want to replace it at my cost because it's fairly a new model. Its so uncomfortable that i take cab instead of using this So disturbed with the car and customer service
