2019 VW Tiguan Rearview Mirror Removal & Install

What is holding that bracket to the glass? On mine the entire assembly fell off in one piece (was just hanging by that wire until I unplugged it). On your video, you seemed to put glue on just that little round piece.

I applied the Rain Sensor pad. The bracket is attached to the glass with an adhesive. If yours came off it can be reapplied with special adhesive. You’ll wanna contact an auto glass company for help

I pulled mine off the ball and tried to bump it back on the ball and knocked down the other piece. How do I get it back up

Sorry for the late reply. I’m assuming you’re referring to the mirror coming off the ball joint from the bracket. Unfortunately, that can be impossible to reconnect.

@biblebeforebed9731 thank you but had someone figure it out and got it back up. And yes I was referring to the mirror itself going back on the ball joint. But it's fixed. Thank you for your reply

@itsgranbabii.205 my son was able to figure it out there is a ring around the hole on back of mirror ,he had to pop that ring up for it to go back on. It was kind of a pain to do.
