Volkswagen Tuareg V8 OFF ROAD RAPTOR

I have 2006 touareg v8 running 40mm lift , bilstein shocks , K&N filtration and 275 65 18 cooper discoverer II . 150,000 miles mostly desert and arid mountains. Most fun overall my 4x4s which includes land cruisers, pajero SR , Toyota 4x4 pick ups. However my land rover is my favorite. Best in dunes by far. All others required 4 wheel low , rover went everywhere I wanted in high. Took touareg to Dumont dunes. As well as imperial sand dunes both in California. Also took touareg to sand hollow utah. Very fun and fast. Pulls my 22ft travel trailer up local mountain without issues. Land cruiser v8 4.7 struggled and brakes were smoking on the way down. Great vehicles better be committed to service. Try to do most repairs myself when possible.

How smooth is the finish of the paint? I want to do my car but there's conflicting reports that it can be smooth or not.

yes yes, but it is so simple that with little manual skills you can do it yourself

Thanks, I'm glad you like it ... and the snoorkel is from the Nissan Patrol car. They are dedicated to tuareg but to diesel engines where the filter is on the other side and here is gasoline v8 so it had to be adapted from the patrol
