1.6 tdi is the mother of 1.5tdi. 1.6tdi done 1.5 lakh and still running in our home in the form of rapid, that time handling la rapid and Vento were kings, the cars steering will take you were you want you to go. Driving these cars in a rural single lane, dominated by goverment buses is a bliss. Even today's Vernas and cities can't match rapid and ventos handling.

proud owner of vento 1L tsi. Handling and performance is excellent. Though vento is more than 10 year old design still it has the eye cathy on road. Excellent build quality and cornering stability. If anybody planning to buy used vento rapid polo go blindly and you will enjoy each mile of your ride.

@motowagon, Nice review 🎉. Sharing my long drive experience with vento. Last may returned from Kodaikanal to Chennai aprox. 600km with 3passengers with boot full. Single handedly driven, one dinner break, midnight driving, i never feel tired in continuous driving, no problem with fingers, leg and no back pain.but little bit sweating in seats.but internally i felt sleepy.Good steering feedback and has great power while climbing hills 🔥At that moment i thought old german cars are better for driving long ways ❤ when u drive german cars u never feel like to take rest 🔥

I own an Ameo 1.2 mpi, though not in the same league as the TSI's and TDI's, but what it lacks in power/torque, it just compensates incredibly with ride, handling and steering feedbacks. Proud VAG owner ❤❤❤

@@harkrishanchinnarasu Mine is a pre-owned car, and I have done 2 general service, maintenance cost is relatively high. Apart from that , I did not get any huge bills up until now. Performance - lower down the rpm band there is nothing, you will struggle and have to make frequent shifts. The bulk of its power comes in after crossing 1800 rpm. On a highway, if you can keep the car in between 100-120, you will enjoy it the most. That's the sweet spot. On the handling front it's a Vag, so one word is excellent.!!

Service cost 11 to 12k for every 15k kms. I don’t find this quality even in new gen Virtus or Taigun. I will use this car till Diesel vehicle gets banned.😂

Hi brother! Your channel is one among the best in automobile reviews in tamil particularly. Please include the maintenance cost and customer service support for all the cars you are reviewing. It’s a major point in buying a car. Customers don’t want to regret their purchase because of maintenance and service costs. Most of them purchase cars through emi which is a bomb in their pockets already. If maintenance is too high for Indian roads it is a big regret after buying and it will kill the experience of driving a car peacefully.

Simply a timeless machine.18kmpl mileage in city and 20-21kmpl on highways even at the speed of 100-120kmph. One of the robust and best handling cars in India. One gem of an engine from Volkswagen.🔥🔥❤️ Periodic maintenance + proper handling makes the ownership a pleasant experience. @@raveendhana7084 till date no issues faced. Once I had big bill at 1.1lac km for timing belt kit replacement abs sensor breakpad disk and some wear and tear parts costs nearly 50k. Showroom maintained from 0-1.4lac km.

ABS in Vento/Rapid is very sensitive for Indian conditions. Whenever I get my Rapid water washed in service center, the ABS sensor blows off.. These cars demand precision workmanship even for water wash. Recently drove one of my friend's Virtus, and realized that the current gen Virtus/Slavia are not even close to Vento/Rapid.

@@raveendhana7084 1.6 mjd has 290nm torque, no disrespect for VW TSI, but the feeling of anytime it will breakdown, spoils the driving experience, even though someone has money to fix all those, VWs are just a 70k km limit machine's, then it's all expenses, anyway i own a Punto, diesel, bliss it is, never driven a car like that, I have driven Abarth as well, smokes every car possible under almost 30lakhs, man this country doesn't deserve Abarth, but it is the best engine India ever got in the budget I mean.

@@PradeepR-fg3oi I agree you are a Fiat fan, but not many had chance to drive Fiat in their owns chassis, so I have driven the 1.3ddis in the swift and the Fiat sourced s cross, those chassis did not give me the same feel as I did in my rapid, And you are telling the VW group are prone to issues, nu everyone here knows VW has had fuel issues that time, but the car is still doing 1 lakh and about for 99 pecent of the people here, and at that time at that price in 2011 - 2018 the 1.6, and 1.5 tdis were a gem for that price. So you just don't echo the point we are discussing here. Your comments says you are hurt and keep comparing a company that was never into the Indian market any time strong

Using 1.5TDI (with same vento tune, 250nm) with DSG in Ameo(smaller and fun) for past 5 years❤️TDI is a big miss in india! New MQBAO IN definitely cannot match the feel of PQ25/26 platform, even the interior. May be Tiguan,Kodiaq or Audi may satisfy the older VW owners, definitely not the Virtus/taiguns. Not gonna sell these though

Actually the Car reviewed in this video is 1.6 TDI... 2013 Model if Iam correct. Volkswagen launched 1.5 TDI only during second half of 2014. 1.5 TDI Came with Flat bottom steering, black and white MID and a different alloy wheel design... 2015 model even got a Facelift and another different alloy wheel design...
