I have a question, a VW Polo 1.2 of 70 hp 6R, to change spark plugs is it imperative to buy originals from the brand so as not to make a mistake or can we buy brands like Bosch or NGK or similar in competition? I heard an engineer say that he saw a case where they put some NGKs and it went wrong after a few kilometers, which then went out.

I have used Bosch spark plugs on every service for the last 7 years no problems at all also I replaced all 3 coil packs for Bosch branded ones when 1 original vw coil pack failed and honestly ever since the car drives so much better

Hello friend, I have an error in cylinder N°3, vw polo 9n, I checked with obd2, but I would like to be sure if it is the coil... question: if I change the coil to another cylinder N°2, and the error appears on n2, does it mean I have to replace the coil? am I correct? hug🫡

Hey mate does it matter in what order I put in the new ignition coils ? Is there a specific one for each hole?

It’s best to put them back the same way you took them out but doesn’t really matter

My sons polo has started running lumpy and slow acceleration, I've taken the coil pack off and at least one is rusty and looks nasty but he doesn't have the EML on, does it always come in if theres an issue with them? Sorry for the dumb question but i have no idea.

On my wife’s polo no warning lights came on at all but replaced all of them anyway and would recommend the same to you replace all 3 coil packs and all 3 spark plugs should run sweet after.

@@jaysworkshopgarage thank you. I've got him to buy all 3 anyway and I'm hoping it will sort it out. I'll not do the plugs yet because I'm doing a full service on it in a couple of weeks anyway.

push clip down with your finger or thumb and use flat screwdriver to separate connector
