What an amazing post and such nuggets of information! It’s a wonderfully coloured car and apparently well worshiped. I remember when I went to Burma on a UN mission immediately after the 2012 opening up of that state, loads of such vehicles (beaten up from disrepair), along with some hand cranked buses were still in use there. Fun part is they had old British RHD vehicles where the road rule was RHT. Within months, all these vehicles disappeared, many went abroad as collectors purchase and were replaced with reconditioned imports mostly from Thailand. Now both RHD & LHD vehicles struggle with RHT road rules. But Burma is odd for several other reasons too.

It was a long tiring day, reached home, casually opened KZbin, and this took me places. I was called out as so materialistic when i talk too much about cars, but i talk about onlY cars. As of now, have sold my only car and planning for a Coupe. Ever since i was called crazy considering practicality in all sense as we talk it is not an appliance and may sound non sense.
