Hinata has many redeeming qualities, emotionally intelligent, driven, athletic but he sure come out dumb at times of naive. Adam will come to see that side of him eventually 😂 His brain only goal is to stay on the court as much as possible

A lot of people hate on Kindaichi for his attitude toward Kageyama, but the thing is Kageyama was NOT a good teammate to him in middle school. It might not have been Kageyama's intention to be so rude and inconsiderate, but he was. The reason Kindaichi was in disbelief that Kageyama was matching up with Hinata shows how unwilling Kageyama probably was to match up with his teammates in middle school. Being treated the way Kageyama treated his middle school team at age 13-14, I think Kindaichi's reaction toward Kageyama is totally understandable.

I feel so sorry for Kindaichi😢 who actually admires Kageyama as a teammate. But Kageyama makes everybody feel they're not good enough to play with so they have mutual regrets in their friendship.

@@swaggboymcgee210 Unfortunately I have to disagree with you. Look at it from Kageyama's viewpoint. He's setting the bar high with how he wants his spikers to hit to beat the blocks, hes putting in all this time and effort to hone his craft at setter and yet it seems like kendichi and his teammates didnt want to even try to put in the work to match kageyamas work ethic. And now after being made a fool saying no one could match Kageyamas sets, and they're seeing first hand that Hinata can, and he gracefully will go after the ball im sure it leaves a sour taste in their mouth knowing that maybe if they put in as much effort as Hinata did maybe he'd still be playing with them and not against them. Thats just my two cents though. Most Elite levels players have the same mentality and motivation, which is now why Kageyama and Hinata are the perfect match while they grow as players together

I'm gonna defend Kindaichi a bit here, because in their experience in middle school, Kageyama was toxic to them. Kageyama was toxic to Kindaichi as Oikawa is for Sarah lol. Kindaichi's line of "Anyone he can't use, he throws away" was his reality ever since Kageyama became their setter; 2 years. The proof of that is in ep3 where Kageyama tells Hinata "I'll toss to anyone I deem necessary to win. And right now, I don't think you're necessary". That's straight out of his mouth. Kindaichi and the other middle school teammates have the right to be angry for that.

The player who was talking next to Kindaichi was Yahaba (the player who fought with Mad Dog). He is a sophomore and a backup setter. I was the setter for practice matches until Oikawa came.

Adam, without spoilers Ill tell you that early on in the series you do kind of get more of that "highlights" of the matches, but as the series progresses and the team gets better, it really gets to the point that you see pretty much every play and action, and matches take multiple episodes at that point.
