Slow approach is the key to a powerful spike. Also work a lot on your arm swing too

hi I am 13 ,166 cm tall and my reach is about 300 and I am able to spike deeply and close to the net. so it depends on your height and technique

You really should, just a fair warning, haikyuu makes this sport look easy and it is far from easy.

what @fabs said! haikyuu really doesn't show how incredibly hard it is to get the basics right (except maybe the first episode, don't really remember), it'll take you quite some time. however, when you're good at it it's even more fun! so don't get too caught up with all the fancy back row or tempo attacks, and focus on the basics, that will make it even more rewarding when you finally get to do these attacks, possibly even in a game
