YESSSS!! Usually at the end of every match they showed the last person who scored the point their moment, but they showed Daichi instead, and then Asahi and Suga. That means that this match means everything to them, like this is their last year, and that shows that they weren't kidding when they dreamed to go to the nationals like what Kageyama thought they did at the beginning of season 1. I'm so proud of them😭

Noya's touch was 302; the rim is 305. On top of that, you need about 6-7 inches above the rim at least to dunk.

@@brickwall6247 he didn't stop dreaming, he actually continued to play volleyball after high school, otherwise he wouldn't be a coach. he needed to have experience to be a coach. its just that because of what happened to him in high school, he became the kind of coach that prioritizes height, power, simplistic strategy and stability. Which isn't bad at all. They did go to Nationals 3 times in a row.

@@tom594 true. We cant say his way is entirely bad way. Height is ultimate advantage in volleyball. Hinata repeatedly agree on that. You can train anyone to be a good volleyball player but height is like something you cannot change. The coach has high ideals amd short player will be abandon under his care but since he has so many tall, great player, he has many choices on that.

Little fun fact: Furudate (author)'s home town is in miyagi prefecture till junior high scool. But he moved out with his parents to Iwate prefecture and had a senior high schooler life in there. He's graduated from Kenritsu Karumai High School which is an original model location for Karasuno High School. And yeah, volleyball school's uniform is black with orange lines but still different with karasuno ofc. You can check the Kenritsu Karumai High schooler in youtube doing some sport activities, but just 2-3 minutes duration.

I just had to add some insight on Tendou. Furudate did so well on his characterization. Every time they talk about blocking in Haikyuu, it is always implied that read blocking is the best-- by having three blockers working in a system and looking at where the ball is set to, it eliminates most of the possibility for the blockers to lose the spikers. But Tendou always prefers to guess block, because he loves the feeling of blocking the ball straight off and getting points from that. He likes to treat blocking as an offence rather than defence. The teams he was in in the past did not allow him to do that, because he would become the cog that breaks everything apart. Tendou wanted to play the kind of volleyball that made him happy, like every average highschooler. This is where Washijyou-sensei gives him the chance of entering Shiratorizawa, a team that is not very dependent on teamwork. I've seen a quote in a piece of fanart, 'no matter how I act without authorization, the fact that these guys are strong will never change.' This is the perfect interpretation of Tendou's thoughts. Shiratorizawa is 'paradise' to Tendou. He has passed the best three years ever in his volleyball career, and might not meet a team where he treasures to this extent ever again. Hope there weren't any spoilers in that paragraph above. Let's cheer for Tendou and whatever awaits him ahead. Mirakuru boiiii---- SA☆TO☆RI☆!!!

The way I perceived 7:05 was that Hinata & Tsuki were trying to beat Ushijima 1 on 1. But he’s far too strong to beat alone. Tsuki couldn’t block him except for once, Hinata couldn’t compare to him at all in anything he did alone. But their Senpai’s Daichi, Tanaka & Asahi were there to help them. They were there as a team to come together to defeated Ushijima who alone none of them could beat. It shows the bond Karasuno has, hopefully I made sense haha

Winning the finals is a memory that I'll never forget in my Highschool days but we lost at semi finals as we encountered the defending champs (nationals) but nevertheless I have no regrets in playing vball
