@@allanadrianl.mondejar1822 Ishida is one of Japan's big spikers alongside Kurihara, but they didn't make the cut for the final roster in London. Ishida was replaced by Sakoda and Kurihara was replaced by Shinnabe.

She was recently in a video with Kano and Ebata, and while she revealed that she was wearing Ishida's uniform shirt under her own after this match, it was a little known fact that she started wearing it from the quarter finals. Apparently she didn't like hand washing both of the shirts after the matches, so even though she wasn't supposed to, before this match she sent them out to be washed to Ebata's dismay. Also the reason why Ishida's uniform was worn, but no one wore Kurihara's is because on the day of the opening ceremonies, Ishida heard that her mother was in critical condition (and eventually passed away), and returned to Japan.

Whoever won, Kim was the best throughout this Olympic. No debate. Despite her team finishing in 4th place, she was the top scorer and MVP. Crazy. It's a shame Korea wasn't able to win a medal despite her efforts. Hope the team does better at Tokyo with Kim.

この試合もいいですが、何と言っても準々決勝の中国戦が凄かったですね。あれはバレーボール史上最高の試合だと思います。日本は予選リーグから苦戦続きで３勝２敗で辛うじて決勝トーナメントに進みました、そして準々決勝で中国に勝ち、準決でブラジルに負け、３決で韓国に勝って銅メダルを獲得したのです。つまり通算成績は５勝３敗ですから結構勝ったり負けたりしながらのメダル獲得だったんですね。最後まで切れることなく集中して戦った成果だと思います。

Yea, for whatever reason he thought that Araki was the Korean captain?... I haven't finished watching the match, but the announcing is noticeably worse than the Japan-China match. こうしてみると、日本選手と韓国選手は違いがはっきりしますね。スタイルはほぼ同じだけど、韓国女性の顔はメリハリがしっかりして固い感じがします。日本選手はふんわりとやわらかい感じです。中国選手は体つきも顔つきも男性的です。しなやさかがあまり感じられなく、どちらかというと、ごつい印象です。ちょっとしたしぐさとか、喜び方をみると、日本選手は女性らしいですね。
