Watched this more than 5 times. Never got tired of it. One of the best volleyball games in the Olympic history. Japan fought really hard and suprised China. I was watching and cheering for Japan as I watched it live at 2am in my country. I can't believe that it's almost 9 years since this game, and still one of my favorites. Who's with me? 😂

2020年見ててフラストレーション溜まり… ここに辿り着きました。 テンポが速い！バタバタしがちな場面でも１つ１つ丁寧で正確！皆が瞬発的に判断できる！サーブでも攻めれる！サーブレシーブがしっかりセッターにいく！なにより皆よく動きよく取る！ 崩されてセッターに返らない時も佐野選手、新鍋選手のトスが丁寧でバタバタしがちな場面でもしっかり木村選手が決めてくれる安心感が好き。 選手１人１人のレベルが高くてスタッフ含めチーム皆で勝ち取った勝利だと感じた。 確か当時は夜中に放送してて次の日は仕事だったけど感動的な試合をリアタイで観れて良かったと感じたことを覚えています。 こんな試合をまたいつか観たいと切に願ってしまう。

この五輪の後、、、、正しくはリオの後、、、監督が変わり、いい選手がいても宝の持ち腐れになりました。。。。。 そして、高校から注目されていたとある有名な女子プレイヤー(K選手)は東京のあと、自分のチームの練習にも参加してないとか、、、、 怪我に悩んでいた事もあるようですが、あの低迷した監督じゃなければ、彼女も古賀や石川と一緒に日本を引っ張っていく一人だったのではないかと感じます。

This is one of the best games of Japan in the Olympics. Winning this match was able them to finish third in London, the first medal after decades of drought in volleyball Olympic medal. この試合、14-14のあたりから泣きながら見てました。日中戦で女子バレーが勝ったところを見たことなかった自分は、この試合を見ながら「この試合すごい…」と震えてました。中道のサーブを中国がレシーブを弾いて、勝った瞬間は声上げて喜びました。一人ホテル泊だった部屋で笑　中国選手もかけてた思いがかなり強かったでしょうし、喜びの涙の日本と悔しさで一杯の中国を見てて、それでまた泣けてきました。今の中国は鬼強いですけど、このときの悔しさをバネにした選手もいたからこそだと思います。もう一度このような試合が見れるといいなぁー！

1:25:17 この大友のプレー素晴らしい。 レフト側のブロック跳んで、ブロックタッチの軌道を一瞬で確認しセンターに戻り、レシーブの軌道を見ながらブロード攻撃に走り込んで、最後は相手ブロックとの駆け引き。 僅か3秒程で身体と頭をフル回転させていますが、竹下のトスもあり、とてもスムーズな一連の動作です。 バレーボール経験者なら分かると思いますが、とんでもなく難しい技術です。

i am a big fan of this japanese team... i really love saori and ebata and even the great setters they produced... they are really superb plus the fact they have a really good libero... i am more of a defense type of a player than offense and japanese team are really superb in terms of defense.
