I deeply admire those fortunate enough to witness this match in person. While I sit here shivering in the cold glow of my laptop screen, I can't help but fantasize about the electrifying atmosphere and the visceral reactions I would undoubtedly experience if I were there live. The intensity of the competition, as both teams fought tooth and nail, must have been a spectacle beyond words. Egonu's performance was nothing short of spectacular, a display of sheer brilliance on the court. However, in the same breath, one cannot overlook Zhu's exceptional skills and contributions to the game. Both athletes pushed their limits, making the match a gripping contest that left spectators on the edge of their seats. As I marvel at these extraordinary athletes, a wish lingers in my mind: the dream of witnessing Egonu and Zhu teaming up on the same side. The thought of their combined prowess is nothing short of thrilling, and I can only hope that someday this dream collaboration becomes a reality.

Yup. I know Zhu's been playing hurt for a bit, but even still she's been good, and China's team over all is very strong. And then you have Italy, one of the best in the world as well for several years now. I thought for certain 1 of these 2 would be in the finals, and probably gold.

As epic as this battle is, it is so hard for me to watch as ZhuTing fan. This could have been the closest opportunity Zhu ting got her world championship gold and MVP. She got her World Cup and Olympic gold and MVP in 2015 and 2016, world championship is the only MVP she is missing. Now with injured wrist for 3 years, I think her legendary career was inevitably going to an end.
