Brazil vs Japan (female) matches are always sooooo intense and almost always 5 sets, guaranteeing the best possible emotions. It could have been a finał, not "only" a semi final. Many people say that height is important in volleyball, but today Japan showed that even if they lack height, they can win with persistent defense and skills.
@regulo54275 ай бұрын
@BzrLee5 ай бұрын
Their floor defense and technical ability to have absurdly good 1st and 2nd balls after receive is what makes them good. Its like they exchange their height for speed. Pretty hard to do though as other small lineup teams like thailand or other asian teams, aside from china of course, cant fight consistently with the big teams.
@regulo54275 ай бұрын
@BzrLee5 ай бұрын
@@regulo5427yeah pretty much i agree. Their play of style is very very hard and extremely rough on the body to sustain for long games. Its the same situation for their mens team too. Thats why both the japan mens and womens team are teams that always have the most rotation of players per match as they need to capitalize on every rest they can have each game. Instead of just being tall and having the advantage on the net like other teams, they instead have to rely on diving and chasing for balls every time which is rough for the body. Pretty taxing style but they really make it work somehow.
