The 33-year-old and 202 cm tall Volleyball Superstar Matt Anderson has been part of the USA men’s national team since 2008 and has been effective when deployed as an Outside Spiker or as an Opposite. The following Olympic cycle was considerably more successful for the Americans and Anderson played a pivotal role. He was voted the Most Valuable Player in their triumph at the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Cup and was a key element in their victory in the 2014 FIVB Volleyball World League and their bronze medal campaign at the Rio 2016 Games.
