Kenya fought gallantly. It's a good game and Russia took them seriously by fielding their best players so we can say that they respected the Kenyan team. Russian blockings were so powerful. Kenya still lacks the experience but still they give the Russians a good fight. Kenya needs to learn how to cover the blocks of their opponents and improve their floor defense. Their playing system looks like a Dominican Republic style.

Russia struggled to beat weakest team Kenya in three sets (25-16, 25-21, 25-22) but still got the job done to claim the bronze medal. Congrats to Russia for a podium finish on the world stage. Their match against Brazil tomorrow is only academic but still anticipated to see which team is stronger.

@@mirieshii1948 From the looks of it, yes, but then Brazil has been deflated by their 1-3 loss to South Korea as they were favored to win and this dashed their hopes of contending with Russia for the bronze medal. Let's see which team is mentally stronger and has the will and skills to win.
