The story I have heard from BOTH Russian and Ukrainian sources is that an error in rotation occurred: where the positions held by the 47th Mechanized Brigade would transfer to the 115th Mechanized Brigade. When the 115th Mechanized Brigade failed to show up, there was an opening in the front. This is what allowed the Russians to storm Ocheretyne with relative ease.

@NachielАй бұрын
@@karimlerbheley8553 Sure it is. In some first line brigades aprox 400 men. In brigades!!! But battlesectors are appointing, as if they were fool-blooded. So, what so you want🤷♂️
@NachielАй бұрын
Its a half of truth. 47 mech have to “rotate” cause they were beaten and withdraw without an order from part of their positions. And 115 - isn a brigade in military sence. Its a newly formed regiment consisted from garbage instead of trained soldiers with lack of armour vehicle. And they failed to quickly change their positions and fill the gap after withdrawing of 47th. Sad but true
@jugganaut33Ай бұрын
Not an error. It’s a lack of manpower and equipment. Ukraine was used to throwing 10’s thousands of men at any Russian advance until there was a body in every shell scrape every room of every building every trench. Now they can’t do that. The 47th were decimated and hadn’t been replaced. Russia saw the opportunity after throwing 300 FAB bombs at them. 30 per day for a week. Followed up by 1000 artillery shells. And then they tried to rush the other regiment in to hold the line but 1000 men couldn’t even get into positions before the Russian literally overran them. They were throwing 500 men a day at their defenses. They didn’t have any artillery to even pause the front
@Ablodiallo1Ай бұрын
It’s both a lack of man power and motivation. Ukrainian soldiers are either surrendering en masse or refusing to go to the slaughterhouse

@swaminathanbalakrishnan1399Ай бұрын
It depends on the extent to which the Ukrainian X corps remains operational. This was the mechanised assault force that attacked and was crippled in the 2023 offensive. While it sustained heavy losses, it was not completely destroyed - but was it consumed in the battles of Avdeevka, or does it still have operational elements left? If it does, the Ukrainians will be able to plug the lines and hold them with the new equipment from the aid currently being sent; if not, there will be a general collapse of their frontlines in Donetsk, similar to the Hundred Days' offensive in WW1. This is the only capable reserve formation; Ukrainian Marines seem to have been largely destroyed in Krynky.

Your content has been an invaluable source of information since the starting of the war, please continue! Btw, this new venture seems much riskier than the first. Lvov sees no fighting; it is relatively safe. But Odessa is the target of repeated strikes by Russian naval aviation, since it is the primary base of the Ukrainian navy now. (Idk about Kiev, there were reports of strikes a few months ago but maybe it's quieted down - but it is still the capital, and far deeper inside Ukraine than Lvov and hence a prime target).

Let me explain Russia took southern Ukraine very in a few weeks when they invaded but haven’t since the fall of Adevikia with the fall of adevika( sorry for my bad spelling)and this new breakthrough is reminiscent of when the invasion began but they haven’t taken as much land as they have when they began.

Peace idea: Both countries keep all lands they currently have and recognise the ones they don't have as part of the other. For example russia keeps kupiansk and ukraine keeps kherson city. Ukraine shall not officially join NATO, however an agreement can be made that if russia attacks ukraine again, nato intervenes. The reverse however would not be true, so ukraine doesn't have to join if war breaks out between russia and NATO over something else. NATO will not send any further equipment to Ukraine. Should both parties agree, they will be allowed to keep their existing stockpile. Both sides will economically cooperate to attempt to rebuild damaged civilian infrastructure from the war.

2:15 What a piece of utter BS... That's why you shouldn't be making analytics video like that, if you have zero understanding of the reality and mislead people like that. According to much more verified sources, the Ukrainian forces amidst the rotation were moved south to defend the line along the river west of Berdychi, a bit too much exposing the flank at the Ocheretyne where the invaders went all in with a very risky maneuver along the railway line which now they struggle to even control, being shot all the way through due to how thin the control line is. There's no realistic way the salient can be held, especially now with the aid bill passed and the Ukrainian forces now no longer having to withhold the munitions stocks. The latter being the biggest reason why the invaders were able to advance so much since Avdiivka, like it's so obvious. But you're not even mentioning that, you just prefer to say how "russia is winning" without evidence even though in the last months nothing had improved in the russian army to gain the upper hand, same meat wave attacks, same severe issues, same lack of morale, same desertions. It is still as much bad as it was before Avdiivka. It was the Ukrainian army instead that had to backdown on the munitions usage due to the aid bill not coming through and due to the stockpiles running out. 10:00 Not even close, the time we saw not even two but five, ten and even more towns and villages falling per day was February-March 2022, the actual worst months of the war for Ukraine.
