The price is good figured it would be over 100k. I rode to school many times in a 1971-2 Chevelle with a 396 out of a 1970 SS odd thing is that my mom crashed into that SS 😮 destroying it but became friends with them as I grew up with there 2 daughters.

I saw the video with the black cherry paint job. Hoping as this isn't as old, I may bet a response. We have a 1970 black cherry Chevelle SS 396 with a black vinyl roof & 3-tier hood, no cowl induction. We used to have all of the paperwork showing it was built in California & came from the factory with power steering, power brakes, factory AC, a chrome pumpkin, a chrome sway bar, chrome air cleaner, and a bench seat. We also had found build sheets inside seat springs & inside door panels. These were stolen from us. It also came with a stainless steel warranty card, that used to be given with these cars. A jealous relative took the papers & we didn't realize it until we moved bc we never suspected he would do anything like that. Is there any possible way to contact anyone to replace these things? Thank you. I am curious as to the value of ours? It's in very good shape & has always been garage kept. It has 63k original miles on it. He did put a Hurst compeition plus shiifter on it.

I thought GM stopped production of the guide t3 headlight at the end of the '69 models. I had an original 1971 Chevy pickup and it had original guide powerbeat headlights.

WAIT. He said this was the second owner now saying third owner. Also replace the sway bar and clock doesn't work all spark plug wires replaced new tires all that with such low mileage DON'T UNDERSTAND

I grew up in the 50s 60s and 70s and trying to remember back when I had a 68 Ford two-door fastback Galaxy 390 cubic at one time and I bought it I don't know maybe 15 years ago but I ended up having to have the heads and the valves redone and all of that because of the unleaded fuel I am just curious if that car has to have the same thing done or has it been done I just can't remember back in 1970 have unleaded fuel with the cars coming off the line made it was sleeping unleaded fuel you know
