VOLOS Greece| Improves on further inspection | Marella Discovery Solo Cruise | Undiscovered Aegean

Day 2 on land as Marella Discovery arrives in Volos, Greece and although first impressions don't look promising once you leave the industrial port and reach the town I had a lovely day exploring.
For day 4 of my 7 day cruise on the Undiscovered Aegean itinerary around Türkiye and Greece, we begin with a tender boat ride, then its a walk along an increasingly scenic waterfront.
A bit scruffy to start but Volos improved the more I saw of it.
After my previous day trip looking at Macedonia history from 300 BC this time we had that era covered but then as far back as 10,000 BC as the small, but excellent, Volos Archaeological Museum offered history all the way back to Neolithic times.
Its also day 1 in the "Saga of the Sunglasses" - you'll have to keep watching for that one!
Back on the ship I had time for afternoon tea before quiz and bingo time.
Then I tried 47 degrees for dinner before an evening of fun entertainment from the pool deck, to Squid & Anchor, The Broadway Show Lounge to Bar Eleven.

Great video, watching it, we wouldn’t think it caused you any issues, must be your good editing 👏We’ve been to Volos and it was just as we remembered it. Pretty walk once you get to the main waterfront, we made it to the beach and if you bought a drink you could use the sunbeds for free at one of the bars. RIP sunglasses 🕶️
