Voltage Drop Example: Find Maximum Conductor Length 2024 CEC Table D3 Calcs

This is an example problem using CEC 2024 (NEW) Table D3 calculations from CEC Section 8, Rule 8-102: Voltage Drop.
I show you how to solve for Conductor Length given load current, power factor, temperature conditions, conductor size, source voltage and voltage drop.
Voltage drop calculations are necessary to ensure the conductors are limited to appropriate lengths for certain current and voltage to avoid a high voltage drop leading to unsafe conditions and equipment malfunction. These calculations are described in the Canadian Electrical Code 8-102 and use Table D3. This method is useful for people in the electrical field and students learning.
This is helpful for electrical engineering students or apprentices studying for their Canadian IP Red Seal Text / Exam. I hope the CEC example problems with solutions are useful to understand the rules.
