Well done Cherry Audio. You're in the top of my favourite VSTs without doubt.

There are lots of great tips in this video. Essential viewing for anyone who wants to make the most of the classic 960 sequencer(s).

I bought the vm900 collection , I would like to add the trigger to gate module to my cherry account but i can only purchase it in a bundle with a lot of modules i do not need …..is it available as a separate purchase?
@CherryAudiovst2 жыл бұрын
Our own "Trigger to Gate" converter is only part of VM Core. But there are a number of other 3rd party modules for trigger to gate. At a glance, there's Monkey Business' Trigger Gate Converter (TGC) , Benard's Trigger to Gate, Playertron's X8 Trigger to Gate, probably more. You can use the search function on this page: store.cherryaudio.com/modules

Thanks for the tip. Found them. The 8x trigger to gate works great too.

Thanks for posting, have been a VM user for many months. Nicely done demo, but I already have several sequencers I purchased as standalone or in a bundle, how is this 960 different than the sequencers I already have . . . just wondering.

Hey there! The primary difference between this and other sequencers is simply that it's a recreation of the original module. Functionally, many sequencers do the same things but approach them in different ways. If you haven't already, feel free to demo the module inside of Voltage Modular to see if you think it adds something new to your cabinet!

The 960 has separate gate outs for each step (great for sending that note to a different voice - hocketing), jacks for each step to jump right to it (good for random play order), 3 rows of steps (send 1 melody to 3 separate voices, or modulate 2 things in step with the melody). Those separate gate outs can also be used with probability modules like HetrickCV's PROBABILITY to randomly trigger alternative effects/modulation/voices. It's an outrageously powerful sequencer, especially when combined with other modules.

Now how do you get the 3rd the row timing switch to work with external clock sync?

how to stop the 960, when you stop the daw?
@CherryAudiovst3 жыл бұрын
Hey there! The easiest way to do that would be to use an Amp module between the Sync Divider and the 960 module, and use the 'Play Gate' source to open the amplifier with the CV input!
