To be fair, this build is very out there with all these required uniques and no defensive ones either. It sounds like one of those ludicrous concepts the South Park video guy would come up with.

While the build fell somewhat flat, this type of insanity is what makes PoE so engaging. There seems to be an endless number of possible gem, gear, and passive combos.

I tried the ignite and poison thing this league, what a coincident. I went burning arrow with blackflame and pathfinder with inextricable fate boots and vinespike cordial anoint. I'm new to making builds so it was not strong but still better than the complete fail that I expected.

As far as I can tell the whole ignite thing is very underwhelming right now. Voltaxic poison stuff is doing really well, very smooth and even good single target on autobomber-type builds. Poison sorta takes care of the rng part of having to roll on a huge range. Would using Voice of the Storm + EO have been a good alternative here?

Visually, looks very cool and I wanted to try something similar because I like chaos damage build, but damn... the defences are a bit sus.

I remember reading a while back that snipe support overrides the low attack speed of burning arrow. Is the reason for not using it while mapping because its just more convenient to click once to attack instead of needing to hold the button down? And/or are you able to get your attack speed high enough that you just need to click once with snipe support? I remember a bud doing something similar for scourge arrow way back in like 3.13

I think they just need to make the alt charge belts add the alt charges rather than replace the others. Also things like melee frenzy shouldn't require the boots to function but it does now because of frenzy of onslaught removing your charges at max.

@@urghertable nah lots of builds use ralakesh without maven belts. Its OP regardless. 99% of builds arent sustaining endurance charges vs bosses, and many arent sustaining frenzy or power charges (usually one or the other). So the boots are 12% damage reduction, 12% attack cast speed, 12% more damage in most cases which is by far the best stats you can get out of a boot slot. Adding 25% chaos res is a really nice upside too. The lack of movement speed isn't as crippling as it appears, as frostblink of wintry blast gives spell casters the movement ability they've needed for years, and attack builds have the usuals. And that's not even talking about charge stacking. Thats just the default 3 charges and its already BIS

try burning arrow of vigour, i have dot cap and really high max hit, struggle with small hits tho (cuz of dissolution of flesh)

This is the second time Mathil has attempted a burning arrow build that hasn't lived up to expectation. Is burning arrow just bad? If Mathil can't make it work, I'm not sure it's a thing.

Nah, MBXtreme made a nutty one that’s pretty tanky and pretty sure was hitting dot cap. This was just a meme build trying to throw together a bunch of different mechanics. He’s got good damage here but just requires way too many uniques and mechanics to go defensive.

Pretty much, ever since ignite got "reworked" and burning arrows nerfs(i think 3.18? Or something like that) its not worth unless you invest 100s of divines to strong arm the horrid scaling.

BA of Vigour is OK if you can deal with the "damage reserves life" jewel and snipe gameplay. It was not for me so no more igniting anytime soon (Vortex and EK in the gutter)

Mathil always looks like ubers are so easy. After 12 years of PoE I never dared to properly attempt ubers. I tried them a few times and always died and because of that I never gave it my all because I felt like the builds that I was using would never be able to kill them (mostly Rf or Summoner builds).
