VoLTE using an open source LTE system

System components including srseNB, Open5GS EPC and Kamailio IMS.
The radio is an Ettus Research USRP B205 mini.

Finally getting around to setting up something like this, link/guide seems very detailed. The one part I feel like I’m missing is the srsenb part. Did you have to do anything configuration changes on the srsenb side in order to have it connect to the other components?

EPC+IMS are on a VM, the host machine is a pretty normal i7 laptop

Which model of sicards are you using the sysmoISIM-SJA2?, or other vendor?, i am trying to program the simcard but i cant change some objects of the chip (MNC and MCC)

I am using these SIMs, you should probably check if you are using the sysmoUSIM tool correctly or not, and you will need ADM keys from your vender

Hi Yi Chu, please I need to clarify a point on Hardware configuration. Based on your setup do you have Open5GS + Kamailio IMSI in the same VM then the DNS in a different VM ? Did you manage to setup Diameter connection with OCS for billing? or did you know how I can acheive that? Best Regards

Hi Yi Chu, thank you for the Video. I want to follow the guide you share to build a simulator and give it as a donation to my former Telecom school in Africa, I have a question. For the routing is necessary to use NATing or I can use the Public IP without NATing.? Also the eNode B you used is there any link you can share where I can see the price if I can afford it. That will be help to move forward or not for that project of donation. Thank you

It's probably better without nat. My enb is SRSenb with a usrp

(For everyone to understand I will respond in English) the open5gs version I have is pretty old so my config probably doesn't work with your environment. In section 18 of the guide (url in description) the author has a link to his configs, you can check it out. Remember to change the internal/floating IP in the guide to your own. Check sections 15 and 18 in the guide for your DNS and interface settings, they can mess up everything. I would recommend posting your problem details on the github page of open5gs, with your logs and pcaps, I'm sure someone will pick it up. Good luck!
