Voltron looks amazing and a very complete package with the immersive theming and the variety of elements, and especially the lenght. It's a complete ride, with everything you'd want in a coaster, and it deserves to be in Europe's top 5. I doubt it will be my favorite, so I doubt it would beat rth for me, because I really like a ride that can "surprise" you every time you ride it, with crazy elements, forces you could never have in any other coaster and focused on PURE FUN, better than one that's well paced, long and well thematized, and focused mainly on intensity, like Voltron is! But I think it will be at least top 5 for me when I get to ride it

All my 9 rides had a variation of vibration, even in the middle seats. So I will belive that Mack can fix that, when they fixed it. Europa park have outdone themselves with the Croatia section, even if it’s not complete yet … It heightens expectations of what is yet to come. A couple of days ago they finally added the Weta animatronics to the plaza. Yes there are still some blind spots when it comes to theming, specially around the turntable, but I hope they will ramp it up once Voltron is completely dialed in and running without issues. I like how Mack starts to tie their attractions together under the „Adventure Club of Europe“ IP, even if some backstories are somehow inspired by already existing stories. The Backstory of Voltron reminds me a bit of the movie „The Prestige“ with Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman, where in a sideplot Nicola Tesla, played by the great David Bowie, discovers that his machine teleports and copies matter. There is another A.C.E. story, that has elements of the „Phantom of the Opera“ and also features Tesla and an experiment gone wrong, and rumors say that this might get the next big „dark boat ride“ for the park in the Croatian section of the park.

Canobie Coaster would say: I was expecting this sequence to have more theming, but it's mostly an open room. You just have an iluminated purple ring on the ceiling At least during my visit, if an extra train was removed, the maintenance door was usually open and some fog. And awkwardly, you can sometimes see the other world. You see, the turntable is where the maintenance bay is located. So this is where broken or spare trains are transferred. At least during my visit, if an extra train was removed, the maintenance door was usually kept open. So you can see the adjacent office buildings, which is a bit of a buzzkill. So why did you say seeing the office buildings is a buzzkill if you usually don't mind them?

I’ve been on it 3 times, 2 times in the right wing seat, which were both very shaky, the third time I was sitting in the right middle seat, with my dad on the outside, he got a headache early in the ride which only got worse during the rest, while that was my best ride by far. I don’t know if I just got unlucky with the trains, but I’m quite shocked by how much rougher that outside seat is. Voltron is undoubtedly a great coaster with a really forceful and varied layout but unfortunately both of my rides were extremely rough. I ended up sitting on the left wing seat both times and left the ride literally bruised and with a headache. I genuinely could not believe how bad it felt to ride. I really hope they fix this, it should absolutely be the park's number one priority.

@Waggsification4 ай бұрын
@@CanobieCoaster Over the last few days, towards the end of the day. It was so frustrating because the layout is really fun, otherwise. I love the theming and presentation.
@IroAppe2 ай бұрын
Here's some information about that: The Voltron trains are actually not ready, yet they've opened the ride. There are 2 trains in particular that are extremely rough, which sounds exactly like your 2 experiences. If you watch vlogs about Voltron, you will often hear that they are surprised, that some rides are very smooth, whle others extremely rough. It's not an isolated experience, it goes from vlog to vlog to vlog. And then someone said, that even employees admitted to those 2 trains being unsmooth. Additionally you can see them still testing. Trying different things, sometimes people see employees with laptops doing stuff, I've also heard that they are trying different winter and summer tires at the moment, so it's likely chaos. In its truth, Voltron the ride itself is ready, but those trains are not. And since the problem with these 2 trains has now stayed for so long, it's likely a permanent problem with these trains. A responsible thing to do would have been to pull these out. But for some reason, Mack did not do that. They say, that those trains are safe for operation - of course they won't kill you, but it means that everyone going on Voltron does not know if it will be good or bad. It's the inconsistency, and a problem where so many people have reported headaches, should really be a thing where the park should say that these trains should not be running on this ride.

@aridaje43455 ай бұрын
@@limes_I I haven't ridden Voltron but I don't think that it could beat ride to happiness for me. The fact of being always different and re-rideable, of not being too intense (for many people it still is), of having a mix of all the forces you can imagine on a coaster and giving you that out of control feeling with some of the craziest elements ever are the things that make rth perfect in my opinion. Voltron is surely a top 3 Mack rides without a doubt but I prefer a ride with some crazy unique elements to one that's well paced, long and with immersive theming.
@Ddhossf5 ай бұрын
You said that the layout is better than rth...but in what? Voltron's layout is intense and maybe even too much, because of the lenght (yeah for me it's too long) and the elements that are too next to each other! More airtime? Ofcourse, because it's longer, you can fit more of it in! I found it to be very very monotonous in the second half because all the airtime hills feel the same. Rth has spectacular moments of airtime and they're all different! The first half is less about intensity and more about fun (because the banana roll and loop don't want to be very intense but disorientating) and that's completely fine as the other elements are very intense and combining more and less intense ones prevents you of feeling sick at the end, like I did on Voltron! Which, in addiction, has that turntable which makes you breathe a bit but is a HUGE pacebraker! Voltron, apart for the first launch doesn't have anything special or unique. Also has not the re-rideablility of rth and the unpredictability, and the fun. I'm not saying it's a bad coaster by any means and I maybe sounded a little much negative on my tones, but I can't understand how now Voltron is "the best in everything" cause it's just not true! Forgetting about coasters, such as rth, that in my opinion deserve all the praise...and I also saw your video about rth, saying it had great and special elements and I completely agreed. Now it's changed? Now it's turned into a bad or "not so good" ride? I'm sorry for this. Voltron, at least for me, it's in the top 5 but nowhere close to beating the rth!
@CanobieCoaster5 ай бұрын
Ride to Happiness is still elite. My review was made after my first rides, and I wasn't expecting the layout so it was extra crazy. It has moved down slightly on rerides since I know the layout now. Still an amazing ride, but I prefer the elements on Voltron.
@Ddhossf5 ай бұрын
@@CanobieCoaster I respect your opinion of course. We have different tastes. I think that if you put spinning cars on Voltron's layout, it would be a mess. Like, an unconfortable mess! Would feel maybe like a flat ride more than a rollercoaster. This, combined to the rattle, would give me an horrible experience. That's why rth's elements are not extremely intense on paper because with the spinning they already are very intense. And as I said, the more intense doesn't mean the better at least for me

26:45 I was in the left seat on a rough train back in May, and it lost the coaster most definitely more than just a half point to a point... If this was not a known issue to be addressed, I would definitely skip Voltron completely or just go on it if I still had time in the park and the wait time was super low. I spent the entire ride trying to stabilize myself against the constant shaking and could not enjoy it at all. I dubbed it the unbalanced washing machine ;) The friend I was with was in the next train (single rider line) and had a similar experience. Its sad that the door before the beyond vertical launch was open and the screens on both side broken, when u ride it:( Im glad all worked when i was riding About the waiting time: There are couple of days and also seasons in which u have an almost empty park with a few thousand guest and waiting time from 0-30 min max. So its not just the weather that keeps the guests away ;)

I haven't ridden Hyperia. I doubt that coaster has enough length to beat Voltron, but the elements look incredible.

I went to EP about two weeks after Voltron opened. As a hotel guest I got into the park right at opening and was headed for Voltron but then I see the mob of people running for it and figure I'd do something else first. I came back later in the day and ended up waiting around for an hour only not to ride it at all due to mechanical issues. Very disappointing but the parks not far from me so at least I'll be back

Sadly not riding this coaster this year, but my god this looks absolutely incredible. Absolutely looks better than Hyperia. Hyperia looks way too short for my liking and this offers the dynamic ride Hyperia offers but in a much longer and well presented package. Absolutely incredible work from Mack. Additionally as a Long islander, it’s super cool to see the Wardenclyffe towers being integrated into such an amazing looking coaster. Bravo Europa park and bravo Mack.

The virtual line was trash. Went 2 days to Europa Park, there were never any free seats. Ontopic: Voltron is amazing! Unfortunately, some trains have a really bad rattle, especially in the wing seats. I really hope Mack can fix these trains because when you're riding a bad train it really takes away from the experience. I still rate RtH higher than Voltron.

Voltron the best Mack? For me, I don't think so. I've not ridden Voltron yet and I can see why someone could consider It the best mack, I'm not saying it doesn't look amazing and the best in Germany (it SURELY is) but for what I can see, it misses that "wow" or surprising moment. The elements are all amazing but apart for the first launch I've already seen them all in other rides. The second part looks quite repetitive and the turntable looks like a pace breaker. So for these reasons, I doubt it will be my favorite, because I really like a ride that can "surprise" you every time you ride it, with crazy standout elements, better than one that's solid, long and well thematized like this. For me it may even be too long. And for what I can see by the reviews, it rattles a lot and since I'm very sensitive to roughness, idk how I can handle more than a few rides. That being said Voltron is without a doubt in the top 3 of best mackprodukt ever but I really would see how it ranks in a few months, when the hype (yes, that is playing a HUGE role...) will decrease a bit! Also I want to add: a better layout than rth? I think I would STRONGLY disagree! Longer for sure, more elements (because of the lenght) for sure, but overall better sorry but Idk how I could agree!
@CanobieCoaster5 ай бұрын
The return run is one of the best airtime sequences on any ride and I love the diversity. Most trains are smooth. The rattle is on 2 trains that should be fixed in the future.

What is The Best Way To Get Front Row Rides?
@CanobieCoaster5 ай бұрын
Only way to guarantee it is to be the first one on the ride in the morning by spriting there and being among the first 4 people (and then having nothing that goes in a locker). You can't linger back once grouped since you mess up everyone else in your row.
@ThemeParkEnthusiastNL5 ай бұрын
So The Right Wing Side is The Easiest? BTW i Could Also Try Just Letting 16 People in Front Of Me To Fill The Next Train. So That i Am The First One To Fill The Train That Comes After.
@CanobieCoaster5 ай бұрын
They continously let groups of 4 go. So there's more than 16 people past the standby/single rider merge. It's too far back to count the groups.

Yes I was aware that some trains are awaiting dampers to be fitted. I must of just had bad luck. Hopefully next time my experience will be better but for now it’s not even a top ten coaster for me personally. Real shame as I had such high expectations and left with a banging headache. 🤕 Silver Star is still the best coaster there IMO.

Imagine a spinning row on voltron.
@aridaje43455 ай бұрын

@@aridaje4345 Not at all, not to me. Blue Fire was transformed with spinning seat, time traveller and ride to happiness are great, this would just be even better. That said, like Mike, I don't get sick on spinning flat rides no matter what they do. Last time I had a day at a carnival I had a full 3 course breakfast and went straight on the rides. No issues. So for someone like me it would be heaven to have that insane hang time inversion spinning and that air time backwards or sideways, but to you, not so much. We are all different.

Loved it when I rode it last weekend. I also managed to not get spoiled before going there, but then got spoiled in the queue…🥲 But that is indeed intentional, if this happens, the storyline behind it is that the teleportation fails. But I think they shouldn’t do that it takes away the shocking moment for first riders. For me the right seat is way way way better than the left one. And front and back are way better than the middle ones. I was surprised by how big of a difference one row could make. Unfortunately it seems like I always got those two rough trains besides one ride in the front. Your Onrides look so smooth while in mine it looks like there‘s an earthquake going😂 (still with the stabilization of GoPro Hero9) But what a fantastic diverse coaster with some amazing and unique forces🔥
