@@wavesnowaves I can see what you would say that. their product page has changed since I made the video. this section (copy and pasted from Amazon) Banana Can Be Added Add your powder, click the Voltrx button and the powerful vortex will make your shake as silky as coffee. Perfect for protein shakes, fiber drinks and meal replacements. Had more mention of easily adding bananas and peanut butter, which is why I did the test of it. If I was seeing this product page back then. I wouldn't have even made a video about it.

So for those who like to use peanut or banana, here is advice. Peanut butter can be heated up to become more liquid like. Also some brands like sams club brand "members mark" comes smoother softer. For on the go the game plan is prepping for the day. Take some time with a spoon then whisk with the banana in a bowl a day ahead and refrigerate or do it prior to leaving the house to have it ready and easier for your blender cup to mix better for your quality resilt and satisfaction. The world isnt that automated yet

How many years will it last? I am a student and I drink a banana milkshake a day as a breakfast meal replacement.

This will not last. Mine lasted about 6 months. The battery would take long to charge and eventually it stopped charging.

Who follows instructions to the letter when using one of these cups? I'm trying to do it like most people would.

@@ZGadgetReview people that want to get the most of their monies worth. It’s 3 steps. If I’m buying a gadget I plan on using for a while then I’m going to learn how to use my investment so that I don’t get these results. That’s why we look up review videos… because we want to know how it works

I took the time to redo that part of the review and it does work as advertised for the most part.

its advertised clearly to mix with 450ml of water and then pour ingredients. the reason its not "blending" is that banana is suspended in the cup and not at the mixing element. there is also no up-down agitation. if you shake like once or twice up and down it'd probably mix fine even with excess water.

That's why I did the follow up. Whichever way the thing stopped charging after about a month or two. It's a waste

@@ZGadgetReview I just ordered the "Merger" model by the same company just after I commented and it arrived. I'll comment back when it breaks haha. Just cleaned it out and the seal for the charger seems ok. I only see issues with the blender base leaking (around the rotating element into the internals after some time, or given built up pressure - ie. mixing without the cap open) and maybe if the seals aren't seated correctly. the whirlpool is cool. the material isn't too see through for the black model I have so its hard to tell water level from the side. I like the hook on your model more for picking off the floor. They packaged the usb cable tightly so it needs to 'relax' for a bit now. Could water have entered while washing on yours?

Yes, but the advertisement on the page said that you could add bananas and/or peanut butter, hence the testing.
