Forcium - Used in MFFS (modular force field system) things. Ironically, it can be used to create a no-mob area. It's less complicated that a nuclear reactor. You can also have secure storage, big force fields, intruder detectors and all sorts. Depending on the version they had, it can be quit simple and easy to set up.

I put "did" for a reason. What I meant is that since it's date (2013) it was almost 2 years since beta 1.8.1 came out, and they still didn't know animals don't spawn on grass randomly

in case u didn't know, the blocks that take longer to mine are usually silverfish. note if a sign says silverfish farm do not enter; follow the instructions (more likely on multiplayer if u wanna grind levels good to have then!)
