If you are selling within the UK you may need to register for VAT if you meet the requirements.

Yes you do not need to charge VAT unless the company earns over £90,000.00 (2024) in a single 12 month period. Most new companies will not need to register for VAT initially, as it will take some time to reach this level. You can also open a bank account with us without having to register for VAT. If you havent yet reached the threshold and you are not forecasted to go over the current VAT thereshold, then there is no legal requirement to register for VAT.
