I ordered SoundSkins for my speaker pods a while back and installed it. Makes a big difference. I will be ordering them for the bags when I do my speakers, I think it will be even better for the lid speakers. Make sure when you are removing the pieces from the mat to Take your time have patience and make sure you have a good razor blade.

Winter here in MI, and it's the perfect time to gather parts and accessories. I will definitely look into adding these to my speaker package for my 23 Road Glide limited when I order. Awesome info Jay 🤙

Just wondering if you guys have ever tried adding poly-fill to the Harley speaker pods and if so, what were the results acoustically?

Polyfill works well in small sealed enclosures, our tourpak pods a vented into the tourpak, lowers are either ported or vented with radiators, because of this we do not use polyfill on Harley’s

Only running Batwing fairing speakers. Go with Kappa 600x or Hertz 165? Reserve radio, no amp yet, but it's in the plans.

I found that the external piece on the speaker side pushes the pod out and up making it difficult to bolts back in. I would suggest just putting it on the internal pod.

No it is better to both sides, yes the Fitment is tight which keeps the pod from vibrating which makes for better mid bass

You would need to remove the foam from each side of the subwoofer then it is a very tight fit

In some cases I add some to the ported pods, not sealed pods because they are too small or liquid cooled because they are vented through radiators
