Born free, live free, die free. This is our conservation motto. LEK is wonderful. And here Nature Elephant Park is magical. Here is an elephant sanctuary which allows these gentle, intelligent, caring animals to live amongst their own kind (free of pain). And free from mahoots who abuse these beautiful animals and enslave elephants for financial gain. We love David Attenborough and LEK because they care for all other species. Love doesn't always conquer hate and prejudice. And humans can be a cruel, destructive, species. But love is the correct philosophy to strive for when there is so much hatred in the human world.

I think the Elephant Nature Park in Thailand is a true sanctuary park on earth. It can create a national habitat for animals with the help of people who care for from all over the world like you. Without you guys, this magnificent animal would be extinct as the disappearing habitat with the current alarming rate. I salute you guys for such a fantastic job! There is no other word is greater than the word "LOVE".

I've been back from Thailand a week. I was at the Elephant Nature Park. The highlight of my trip. Every single person who asked about my trip asked if I rode the elephants. So my responsibility is to teach that it's considered abuse. Education. I can't wait to go back. The videos are a true representation of my experience.

I am going in February. I just need to know about the sleeping quarters. What would you suggest?
@ginnylyons4806 жыл бұрын
@@podersa241 Hi, You will love it. I only did a day trip at the park but spoke to some of the volunteers at lunch. No complaints, I have no idea what the sleeping arrangements are like when you stay there as a volunteer. I stayed at a hotel in Chaing Mai and was picked up by ENP tour guide in the morning. Are you staying at the park and volunteering?

No one has the right to abouse an animal ...... God created us like He created his animals but not to used them as slaves ........ That's cruelity God puts animals to live freely but idoit don't respect that they feel they can do what they want with animals ....... And God is going to hold them accountable because it is wrong...

Lovely Video. Thank you! May you can tell me, which camera you used? I want to go to ENP next year and still searching for a good cam - cause i dont want to take my DLSR with me. Would be so thankful.
@peacemetta99306 жыл бұрын
Thank you Katharina. We took a mixture of equipment, and we didn't travel light. Much of the video was shot on a Sony NX80 camcorder (all the interviews and a good deal of the footage of the park). The sound was recorded using an Audio Technica BP4025 Stereo microphone. All the stills and the low light video was shot on a Sony A7R3 with a 24-70 f2.8. The microphone used when shooting in low light was the Rode Stereo Video Mic Pro. About half the footage was shot by my daughter on a Panasonic GH4 with a 12-35 f2.8. I also carried a Sony A73 attached to a long lens (100-400mm) for stills, and three tripods. You can see me in some of the footage with a huge pack on my back. It was a bit cumbersome sometimes, but definitely worth the effort. We bought back with us some great stills, and some lovely footage that we'll enjoy for years to come.

If you volunteer, it's 7 days and 6 nights, lounging and meals included. It also includes transport between airport/hotel to and from the park. I hope you sign up because it has been a life changing experience for both my husband and I. We volunteered in 2016. 🤙🏽
