More stories of the grass roots volunteers is needed, especially those helping the poor and middle class affected in the fire. Most unfortunate for anyone who loses their home in this manner. However, there is absolutely no extensive coverage for the hardworking lower and middle class people who also lost everything and they won't be able to rebuild as they don't have the amassed wealth as the people you are showing and all the news is only focused on. Do more human stories of the little guy, who is always forgotten.

Agree.We have seen the celebrities stories.It isn’t that people do not care.The fact is they can start over easier.A loss is terrible either way but it is different when you make less 100 grand verses those who make millions a year.I assume many place business gone too.

@teresaellis7088 I guess when you say "we," you mean on a national level there has been more coverage of the celebrities who have lost homes which I guess is true, but the vast majority of the people affected by this are NOT the super rich even if they work in Hollywood or their homes cost millions of dollars. The homes in the Palisades were worth millions but they were built 50-60 years ago and were owned by middle class people who had lived there for their entire lives. Their home was their entire nest egg.
