Thanks for the inspiration and support! I really like these engines, I really love how they sound and how they answer to touching the gas pedal.

Hey Patrick. Thanks for another great video! A lot of appreciation for those redblocks! Such a great design! I plan to buy a spare engine too at some point. So I can rebuild the one that is inside the car. It's leaky and has some blowby. But otherwise it runs great. Starts everytime. Has 337k on the clock.

Hey Marcin! Yes, good solution to buy a spare engine, just because you can work with them in your pleasure a lot of time as you want. I think that it would be better than take apart engine which uses in the car🤔. They always starts great, but.. it leaky. I also take out engine from car and put another for time of repairing. It right, not covinient when car can't moves. 337k on clock not enough to start repair for Volvo🙂 all cause in condition, yes as you say "has some blowby". B 230 not easy to find in good condition. More better to buy engine with low mileage than "rebuilded" engine, these days they do a lousy job with cheap parts in most of places.

"...works pefectly fine, like most modern cars." hah, most modern cars have so many subsystems that it has problems even before it leaves the factory. we, as car consumers, have grown to accept that as normal. I wish that cars could return to being what they were intended to be, transportation. But then I am just an old man who values reliability, repairability, and economy. I am stuck driving a car that has systems that I cannot hope to understand, repair, and afford - which leaves a sense of anxiety that I, like most drivers, now accept as normal. With billions of more people on the way, surely some manufacturer could offer and auto incorporating brass, aluminum and steel alloys that has a lifespan of "forever"? 🤔. Thanks for the video Master.

Yes, all that subsystems in modern cars, which create problems "eaven before it leaves the factory" or before new car meets with consumer 😀 a lot of drivers now accept as normal 😐. I think, it because they forgot that a car can work perfectly fine without all that extra crap, which create not only insignificant comfort, but also huge huge problems for consumers when something goes wrong 🤔. We'll be disappointed, but cars will not be just transport without various additions and unnecessary subsystems as we would like. Because it is so PROFITABLE for car manufacturers and those who service these cars for 💸money💰. Yes yes, for me the sense of anxiety is abnormal, so I decided to avoid today's cars, but it was not easy to do🥴. I meant that the old Volvos are "no worse than new cars" in handling and comfort, speed and acceleration. I am forever grateful for your attention!

@@berndpfitzner6642 Somewhere was an old commercial advertising of oil as a chimpanzee changes oil and filter in old car. Yes, it's a good video editor work, but it was interesting to watch. Try to find, really funny.
