If the car does not have an AUX or USB and the "Mode" button is "CD"... what are the options to have an AUX/USB retrofitted? My V50 has Bluetooth but only for calls. FM transmitters have lots of static noise.

@@jarinallen1185 Yea, works great and is a cheap option. It's not a perfect solution, but I can't think of anything that is $20 and does a better job. In the V50/S40 the lighter is in a convenient position. It automatically connects to your phone (BT) and you can easily control the music from the device. (+it has a USB A & C for charging and a USB for music from a flash drive + an SD card slot)

Would be best to decode your VIN. Might be a Volvo specific version online.

If you mean using bluetooth, no. The only way would be the auxiliary port around the storage compartment in the rear.

You have any idea why my radio portion of the infotainment would do nothing. Like you can change modes and press am/fm button, but nothing comes up. All the climate works and it does the start up thing with power and has the clock come up. Just a very confusing issue.

@@hansennah2826 Idk if it's any help. I ended up fixing mine by replacing the am/fm cd player audio receiver with another oem one. That ended up fixing it. Appears the radio just died.

The dashboard computer doesn't have memory for different languages. You will need a VIDA/Dice scanner devise and flash it with a new language.
