Yes, they just released a covered under warranty solution but you have to go to the dealership. Otherwise the care key will always go to its own profile and not be able to switch until you power down the car.

In the US market at least it always goes to profile 3, which is limited.

The older inscription models were leather, but they are switching to all plastic now for better wear (and likely to cut some costs)

Thanks for the tips I want to use the orange key because I’m sharing the car with my wife but it seem like this orange key have limitations also I only have profile 1 & 2 with guest which is not as every video I watched on yt & maybe it’s a UK thing

Some models have more profiles than others. Might be regional as well. But in the US market the care key does have it's own profile that is limited in what all it can do.

@@sl7sos For what it's worth I complain to Volvo about the care key. I made this video to try and explain it in about the most useful perspective I can. I do encourage you to reach out to Volvo about this! I'm just a sales guy, so they don't listen to me too much =-D
