I was carrying 50 tons of Sugar products in the Argosy. The FH16 was carrying light load i guess. I have passed many Volvoes , Scania and Kws even being with that load. I guess they would have carrying more load than my Argosy..

Cat has the higher power rating but the Volvo D16 has more low down torque. The difference in payload brings the competition to level ground and the big Swede wins. Go Volvo.

Volvo makes the most powerful truck in the world (Volvo FH 750). An american truck only beats Volvo because European trucks are built with speed limiters. In Europe, the speed limit for all truck on all European roads is never more than 90 kph by law. So when other countries import European trucks, the European dealerships do not remove the speed limiters (They can allow the trucks to go a bit faster, but they do not remove the limiters). Since Freight liner is not European, it does not have the limiter and can thus go faster than 90 kph.
