Honesty and pride in ones work is hard to find in lots of shops. Some charge good money then do sloppy or half way repairs. Glad to see you guys care.

I gotta tell you , this part of the trucking industry (maintenance and repair ) is broken. I haven't found a diligent and honest shop that I can trust, and it's been 10 yrs. Yes, 10 yrs shop hopping. I came to the realization that I outta pay my dues in thousands of dollares for a shop to "accept " me as a Customer. You seem different, hope you stay that way.

Once again if proper maintenance was followed this most likely would not have caused this type of damage, looking forward to the vlog I suggested you guys could do a while back “preventative maintenance vs fix it when it breaks”... cost comparison including un anticipated down time, towing, penalized for load not delivering, road service, etc. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and experience.

Even new radiators blow out. In this case it's the previous mechanic's fault for not replacing the filter when fluids mixed.

I have a question to see if you can help me with it. I have 2015 Volvo with a I-shift transmission the problem it has is that it slips in reverse specially on a load. Forward is just fine only rev. The shift knob is the basic so I can’t change the gear from R1 to R2 to see if that helps.

Can I get some advice, is there supposed to be play (up and down and left to right in the I-shift output drive shaft flange on the rear box

Lets separate "proper" from maintenance. All maintenance should be done "properly" wich was not the case here. Fault on the technician. Maintenance not properly scheduled. Fault on the owner. Yeah the owner is a victim and the techdude that got paid for repair in the gearbox is an assassin

What about down shifting to 12 to 10 gear. It loses power but no check engine. You hit the accelerator but no motion but the rpm.
@jubalee51362 жыл бұрын
Did you figure it out
@01..........2 жыл бұрын
@@jubalee5136 I change the transmission filter my self incase the mechanic didn't do it. And I added more transmission fluid to the transmission. I clean battery put new battery bar that connects them together like + bar and - bar. It has not done the down shift think.. but now it does what this video is about lol. And it has 900k miles just like this truck on the video.. hope it works for you. I'm changing parts as I'm able.

thinking about doing a lease op, just worried about the fact that alot of these so called dealerships and their garages will rip you off on repairs, some of these companies are just as bad on doing repairs with these so called mechanics with no xp

For me Its hard to trust mechanic shops, because of the experience in the past. Most are liars and when you ask them to do something and they don’t do it but still have the audacity to charge you for it. How can you consume that money you stole from the driver. Then it breakdown and driver suffers. I did an oil change and I asked them to check all my fluids and Its hard for me to believe they did.
