One of the local yards got a couple of these front end loaders with extra long forks and they still damage vehicles😞. The rest of the local yards including pick n pull don't have any of these. They 💘 destroying doors, quarter panels, and fenders 😡

Grandpa !!!! I used to work at the savannah yard and that loaders name was grandpa !!! She was used very lightly the past few years and lived at the sublot. They maintained the crap out of those loaders (at least when I worked there)... so know it was worked but well maintained. Did they sell her with her bucket as well ??? BTW the air has not worked in years. Since she was basically back up after the CAT’s showed up it was never fixed.
@MXguy955 жыл бұрын
SCcarguy yes they gave us the bucket as well and a huge stack of maintenance records. Couple leaking tires but i fixed the AC on the first day we had it ! Awesome to know some history on it !
@sccarguy82425 жыл бұрын
Jay Smart that is also awesome. Like I said when copart switched to CATs folks stopped driving Grandpa as much. The CATs have air ride seats, and fork stabilization (keeps the cars from bouncing as much) so they were more comfortable. The Sub lot became the heavy lot around 4 years ago (I left about 2.5 years ago), and Grandpa was moved down there where she lived a much less stressful life. When I left she was one of the oldest units still in operation in the country. Like I said that was 2.5 years ago. I saw her pop up for sale, and I can’t believe the small world that she ended up at your yard. Truly made my day !! Service work was done on site at the yard and was not inexpensive. I don’t think the AC was even looked at back then. Cause she was a backup unit. Glad you got the AC back up and running easily. Looking forward to seeing her earning a living for a long time to come.

That transmits into pieces and parts going where you want and not just where they kand. It will show the abuse after using a while but a good service man will catch and repair as you go along. Volvo is one of the best out there in so many ways. I like them because of the simplicity that makes them a breeze to operate.... Kudos

That's a nice machine. Volvo plant is usually very tough and pretty cheap to maintain so that one should be perfect for your yard work for a long time. The A/C should be an easy fix, it's usually something simple on them. It looks like that one has largely been used for clean work too which is very good for overall condition...
