This is an old engine and I do not suppose you can still get such a heat exchanger like this one any more.... at least, I sure have not seen any. If I run across one I will let you know.

No. It is not. It was in fresh water on a lake until removed from a Cape Dory 30 to be replaced with an electric motor.

I also have an old MD7A. Does it have a zinc anode in the heat exchanger? I can't seem to find one.

Not on the engine. But one in the heat exchanger.

I'm sorry; I misread your question. There is an pencil zinc anode screwed into the bottom side of the heat exchanger. I bought a replacement at west marine, but had to cut it in half to fit. There is no zinc on the engine itself.
