Volvo S40 Misfire

Problem ended up being valve leak on cylinder 4, had to replace two valves both on the exhaust side. The sway bar is a OEM Volvo part. The hose was eBay special.

Can You tell me what have u replaced? the cylinder head? Am having the same problem on 4th cylinder. What should i replace? the EGR valve? or what?

+Adam Wys I only replaced the two burned exhaust valves that were the issue. No issue with EGR, but my shop did have to adjust some spacing issue with my valve lifters.

+Alen Kwong isnt it better to replace the cylinders head? Am having same with S70 2.5 T 1998

The valve job was what my shop recommended to just get my car back on the road. Because I didn't drive it alot with the burnt valve, there probably wasn't alot of damage done to the cylinder, since there was no pressure, fuel was just being dumped out.
