Hi Guys. In this video is shown how to replace the Volvo S60 T5 audio unit which is located underneath the passenger seat. This seems to be a common failure that occurs in average at 100.000 miles. At the beginning of the failure, the audio start to come in and out frequently and later on it is gone at all. You can also listen as if just one speaker were working alone.
This failure affects the radio in a way that create the appearance that it is mute and therefore we think that the radio is malfunctioning, however this problem has nothing to deal with the radio but instead is the Audio Unit is the one that is damaged.
