Location of the points that need depressed in order to pull the head restraint off the front seats
Rear center headrest • Volvo S60 rear center ...
Please not the side read headrests don't appear to be removable. Sometimes the solenoid that drops them down get faulty

The headrest rods that go inside the seat have a very sharp end: this is what they are very hard to dislodge from their lock. Try to push on the pin with a wood stick (like a piece of broom handle - this makes sure the lock is completely depressed) Note: In the making of this video, I look not to damage junkyard parts that are popular or in good condition. There were a dozen of S60/V70 that day and these tan leather seats rarely get pulled (most of the time people look for the black leather seats).

A tip is to press the points with your big tös and pill THE rest off with your hands, by doing tjat you only bred 1 person:)

How about the way to lower the headrest on the middle seat in 2nd row ? So far one wsy i am thinking of is metal saw or big metal cutters.

Try using a tool - not a screwdriver, but something rounded that can go deeper without damaging the leather. And press at different places. But even if you depress the tab correctly, the headrest bars may still be very stuck, better to have someone else pulling on the headrest
