Volvos have always been great value in India and that seems to continue with these petrol versions too. At Rs 61.90 lakh, the Volvo S90 in petrol guise easily offers one of the more cosseting cabin experiences in this class, for less money than many rivals, with its rich ambience and extensive features.
The Volvo S90 with the B5-spec petrol motor packing 253PS is significantly more powerful than the 190PS the diesel offered, although torque is down by 50 Nm to 350 Nm. But this deficit is far less apparent in the real world with the up to 14PS and 40 Nm that the 48V mild-hybrid system adds.

Using an S90 for 3 years. Never disappointed..Not dynamic as 5 series or comfortable as E Class..but safety you feel in this car is better than any other same segment cars.

Love the way you describe the video with Facts and figures... Keep it going Hani.. Nice review.. Volvo is an excellent car in quality terms, various options are already available in the basic models where the other premium brands bag almost the double with add on features... Only Disappointing part with Volvo is that they produce only 2 Liter Engines (although Hybrid option offers over 400HP) , so especially with the higher end like XC90 and S90 the performance is a bit behind. Atleast a 6 Cylinder would have good with these excellent Volvo models.. :)
