El Othemany it’s exactly like plane autopilot. It is an assistance feature that performs basic transportation tasks to assist a competent and focused user. In the same way that pilots still have to monitor the plane while it is on autopilot, and handle takeoff and landing. The only real difference is that it works on the ground so the collision avoidance is more difficult on the cars part, and far more nuanced, given that +-1m on planes is insanely accurate but +-1m on a car is unacceptable.

Bicentricnote33 Easy. Put a large hydraulic pump to create a lot of pressure. Or more likely in such a big and new truck, put a large electric motor in there to provide a lot of turning power. Then on the steering rack and the steering shaft, make the gear ratio really low. What this does it make the wheels really easy to turn, relieves stress on the steering parts since that is a lot of weight to turn, but it makes the steering less dramatic. That means you have to turn the wheel more times to get the same angle that a small car with a high steering ratio would have to do. So it is really easy but you have to turn the wheel more.
