Volvo V70 2.5T | POV | DRIVE & SOUND

Having tested many newer Volvo models on the channel, it was time for the 2004 V70 2.5T! Please leave a comment and like and we´ll see you again next year with many more videos planned! Enjoy!
Note: The videos between exterior and POV shots are taken on different days due to a corrupted memory card. Also EXTERIOR was filmed with studded winter tires, while POV was shot on summer tires. 0-100 video will be uploaded next year when the weather is better, i tried to do it but the car spun too much and the times was not any good.

Morgan 5 Volvo 5 cylinder engines are great!! More Volvo videos will be uploaded in the next two coming weeks (subrscibe!) 😃. The noise is just how the engine sounds i’m guessing, no other modifications or issues.

Dont quote me , but I believe the whining noise at the top end of the engine revs is something to do with vvt these engines have fitted , I had the exact same sound on my old n/a v70 and narrowed it down to that area of the engine

My dad used to have one of these but then he traded it for an old saab 9-5 2.0t i mean the saab is pretty cool but it broke like a year after he traded so he bought another old v70 but not the 2.5t and i mean it's just not the same that old v70 2.5t was such a nice car but luckily he's getting a newer car in like a month not a volvo this time tho, he's buying a skoda octavia now

Im gonna buy a volvo v70 2002 ,2.4 manuel 140 hp. Are they good car? this one has 249 000 miles. But the owner has really taken care of the car, changed alot on it.

I own a 2000 V70 2.4 140hp but automatic. They are very good and reliable! 249k miles is a lot even for a Volvo but if you take care of it there should not be an issue. My car had an oil leak from the vvti which is a usual fault on these cars, but I just got mine replaced! Although now I got an oil pressure light on, so let’s see what is faulty now, it was not the sensor though which I tried replacing 😁

@@AutoAccelerationHD My friend has changed coil, oil filter, spark plugs, last night. And for a few months she changed her drive shaft aswell. I really hope its a good car. My other car was a mitsubishi space star 2003 , a very very weak car. Alot of people say that volvo v70 is WAY faster and stronger then that car

Har kört båda i 2.5T och skillnaden är knappt märkbar. Dock så är XC fyrhjulsdriven och väger mer och drar lite mer bränsle.

They are good! I’ve never had any issues with them. Make sure it’s shifting smooth when testdriving

The ones without the tiptronic are basically undestroyable if you ofcourse maintain once in a while

@@Lukkmaestro completely wrong. The aw55 is extremely sensitive trans and have major issues up to the 2005 year. They had a b4 servo failure and if fluid was not changed valve body failures. They do react well to full flushes tho

Tja! införskaffat mig en 2.5t v70n nu! :D Dock märkte jag när jag satte på sportluftfilter att den låter sutututu, inte som en blow off valve? Något man borde bry sig om att fixa eller åka med schysst ljud?

Did the stage 1 chip tuning affect the automatic gearbox? Any strange gearshifts or so?

Never a problem with the gearbox :) As smooth as when it was stock!

Denna måste ju vara utan awd va? Är oerhört sugen på en v70 2.5t AWD, dock är ju dem lite svårare att hitta men tycker du det är värt o vänta efter en schysst awd eller bara köra fwd? Tack! Kan inte sluta titta på denna video :D Vart köpte du filtret? Tack! Säljer min bmw i veckan nu :p

Ja de FWD. Det beror på vad man behöver, om du bor där det finns mycket snö är AWD bra men om inte är det nog inte värt det, för att det kan höja kostnaderna för ägandet, dels för bensin och vikten men även om det går sönder vilket det brukar göra tyvärr.. Sen har AWD bättre acceleration från 0 men efter 50km/h så är FWD snabbare pga mindre vikt. Filtret är köpt på Vparts vilket jag rekommenderar starkt, mycket bra sida för styling till Volvo! Lycka till med försäljningen :)

How much kilometers/milage is a lot for this engine? 300k?

It all depends on how it’s been taken care off and service history etc. I’m sure they would last longer but I would personally not buy one with more miles than that.
