When my dad has a V70 I would always sit in the middle when we would go through the McDonald's drive through and use the table,, we had some good memories with the V70,, lovely car!

I don't think you can beat buying an old well spec'd car. We have an 17 year old Astra 2.2 Cabriolet that has leather seats, cruise control, traction control, heated seats, etc.. etc.., and like your Volvo it has a tape player! At £650 three years ago with 72k on the clock it is some cheap fun motoring. Our "new car" is a mere 15 years old, another Astra Cabriolet but with the 2 litre turbo engine. It is even more fun than the 2.2 due to kicking out an extra 51bhp more power than the 146bhp 2.2 making it a pretty rapid car!

143000 miles on a v70, that`s what`s known as "delivery mileage" in volvo circles, and the MPOW car phone cradle, great bit of kit i have 1 myself.

I have the 2007 kinetic without parking sensors, and thats my only complaint, it's damn hard to park in tight spaces
