Thanks good info. My 2002 v70 operates on fob and key but handle won't open door,opens from inside ok....I suppose I'll have to copy all your steps to find anything broken! Cheers thanks!

On the Volvo S60 1 BEFORE you remove the plastic that allows you to access the small bars that are held in by clips, REMEMBER how the plastic was clipped in. Or even take pictures. On the S60 it clipped in differently. I spent 3-4 hours trying to figure out how it was placed correctly, because if you put in the plastic randomly, the mechanism will get stuck against it and unclip itself. What a nightmare.

what was the year of this car ? wondering if my 2001 has that plastic cover , i dont like the idea of taking off the window

Afternoon buddy. I hate those panel clips with a passion. I have never managed to find all the inserts when I have pushed them out. Especially the ones on the front bumper. Where they fall to is anybody's guess. Nice clear helpful video as usual thanks Tolly. ATB

Initially I was going to just swap parts over but I’m glad I didn’t because there are so many parts I’ve used! Thankfully just a few items are worth what I paid for the car.

Hi Great video It has really been helpful As I had the change the motor lock asy, All working now, The only thing is it looks like I have bent the outside horizontal door rubber So I mite need to get a new one, Did you have any problems with your one ? Thanks Dave Keep them coming,🎉

The window seal bit? Yeah I’ve had them not go back in properly, in fact I lost a rear one a while back that kept riding up with the window.
