Volvo XC40 Review. 20 reasons why I love it.

The Volvo XC40 has been on the Market for 6 years, I give my 20 reasons why I would buy one again.

I got a fully loaded XC90, misses got an XC40, best cars we've ever owned, comfy, great to drive and didn't come off badly when the misses pranged hers!

Be happy to have the older version. The 2024 model has lost a lot of practical items. Among many, two examples: the display illumination button has disappeared, now you have to work through menu, submenu, scroll and slide… doing this when entering a tunnel is close to suicide. Time indication is only at the central display, in very small figures. One can of course ask Google or a passenger… The managers that made these choices surely never have driven a car. Next version will no doubt also be designed in a meeting room: zero buttons, no display… - see EX30.

Great video I didn’t know about big speaker under bonnet so I guess I don’t need to get one with Harmon Kardon. I have v40 but think the XC40 will better ride over pot holes and being higher will stop me being blinded by lights from SUVs

I’ve just purchased the xc 40, but was told I couldn’t use my iPod with it, are you using a Bluetooth version or corded, I would be very interested to know. Thanks.

Thanks for watching, I use the usb port but I have used it through the Bluetooth in the past 😊
