Volvo XC90 Diesel Top Engine Mount Replacement

Replacement of the top engine mount on a 2007 Volvo XC90 Diesel including the two torsion bar bushes.
Recording gear is Panasonic GH4, SJCam 5000X, 70Mai Dashcam, Zoom H6 and Tascam DR-10L with post production editing in DaVinci Resolve.

Thanks for the vid just changed the same mount on my car after watching your bud and it took me about 20mins knowing where all the bolts were 🤙🏻I brought the 5 piece mount set from eBay for £235 so just got the rest to do now 😉

Hey mate would this be causing a vibration during reasonably fast acceleration

The engine mounts being flogged out can cause vibration and noise though there are lots of causes for that to happen. If this is suspected it is pretty easy to check if this engine mount needs replacement by lifting the cover off and pulling and pushing on the engine to see if there is excess movement. With mine, and since this was done, I have found this alone did not solve all of the vibration, though it helped. I do need to do at least one other mount. This one is dead easy to replace though so give it a go if you think it needs replacement. Thanks for the question.
