Hello Sir, The explanation was fantastic. Expect for one correction (correct me if I'm wrong). The shear force(or stress) that you considered is actually the force ON FLUID since the momentum change is of fluid. For the force ON PLATE, a (-ve) sign needs to be multiplied. Hence in the final equation that (-ve) sign won't occur if we say that the shear stress is ON PLATE. Thanks.

Question, entering face includes U velocity & upper face includes u velocity. Futhermore, u is a function of x-location also, in other words, entering velocity is not same as that of exit velocity, entering u != exit u. There must be presumptions.
