Voodoo exhaust 3 different sounds 2005 GSXR 1000

This shows 3 possible sounds you can get from the Voodoo slash cut slip-on.
The first one is the baffle that comes in the Voodoo
The second is a second baffle option that you can buy from Voodoo that adds some back pressure and lower the decibels by about -5db or so. (don't quote me I didn't measure it, but there is a noticeable difference at freeway speeds)
The third one is all the baffles removed but keeping the Voodoo slip-on on the bike. (basically straight pipe)
There is also a 4th option which is just an aluminum insert that goes inside the stock baffle to also quiet it down and add pressure, however my bike melted 2 of them...

Yea the camera couldn't pick up how loud it really is when I rev it close, but when I went down the street at it don't sound any quieter, then you can tell lol

Anything straight pipe (cars or bikes) sounds best as it brings out the engine's raw sound. Down side: it gets old fast Solution: add a muffler.

Without a tune, almost any exhaust change will result in lost hp. But with a good tune, you could get improvements over stock. That being said, straight pipe without a tune is the worst for power. The $50 baffle did bring back a little hp compared to the original baffle.

Such a bad bike. I test drove a GSXS1000 (same motor) and crazy powerful. Much, much better engine than the MTO9 or Z900.

No baffle sounds a bit rough on idle but when you open it up... my God. I'm thinking of getting the full exhaust system. Is that what yiu have or just the shorty tip?

@@MotoVengeance I'm debating on going with the full system. I have an 03 and just have a hard time dropping a full exhaust on a 20 year old bike. Not to mention the ECU flash I'm going to get with it... but I'll probably say fuck it and do it anyway.

Full system is always the way to go. As well as the ecu flash. (Make sure you can actually get it flashed where you live, as it may not be legal. And if it's not legal, most shops won't do it.) But definitely the way to go

@@MotoVengeance I was going to as I was unsure if I had a cat on my bike. But my bike is an 03 so it may have never had one but after pulling the fairing off I can see it definitely does not now. So I can't justify the cost on a 20 plus year old bike so I just ordered the tip. As far as flashing it, already in the works, sending it to Moore Mafia in the next few days. My buddy just got the same tip and his ECU flashed on his 09 R1. Sounds nice and wicked now.
