Search For Uhuru hello, i love your channel! I would love to travel to all parts of Africa but until then lol I live my dream through you and other KZbinrs.....i have a question just to get your opinion. Many say that the white man stole so much from indigenous culture (spiritually)that caused them to be on top. Many believe that they stole secrets to our power and fed us a white Jesus. This in turn caused our race to suffer. My question is, do you believe that to be true? Is the reason Christianity preach against ancestor connection is bc power is there?

@Steve Bingham Not everyone believes in your god or your religion. Be respectful and accept that there are different beliefs and different spiritualities, and that *none* of them are more right or wrong than the others. Even your Christianity has its origins in pagan pantheism, complete with blood and human sacrifice, which is apparently “demonic”. Here’s a news flash though: YHWH is one of the most blood lusty gods we know of, and as such he required animal and blood sacrifices until he gave himself the gift of the blood sacrifice of his own son (according to Christian lore.) Why, some Christians even believe that the wine they drink and the bread they eat for communion turns to literal blood and flesh in their mouths. If that’s not creepy blood magic worthy of a 90s Satanic Ritual movie scene, I don’t know what is. If you want to talk about “evil” and “darkness”, I suggest you start within your own Christian churches. Hold accountable the pedophiles and sexual assaulters and psychological abusers and narcissists and cheats and tax evaders within your own religion, and then *maybe* you can think about coming for other religions, after you’ve dropped your presumptions and stopped to listen and understand why people believe the things they do.

Isn't it wonderful how those of us from Africa that have never set foot on the motherland, still have, feel and move to the rhythm and beats...inexplicable by western standard. Perhaps this is our gift of rememberance...Also for those who message (colonialists, capitalists & christians), that slavery is in the past and that we should forget the past and move on...consider thisr, WE are the only ones targeted by this ridiculous message, as EVERY other group not only remembers the past but do everything through culture, education, community and all customs possible to re-live, recall, celebrate and commemorate their identity through the passing down of knowledge and history. RESPECT!

Irelands old culture was completely destroyed by the English missionaries who converted Ireland to Christianity and then rewrote all Irish folk stories to be more "compatible" and "palatable" to their way of life. So Ireland knows very little of the old pagan stories or mythos since everything was word and never written down.

Sam THE CLASSIC MAN Yes it’s dwarf spirits you should see it in real life it’s amazing. If you are blessed you dream about them it means you are from a wealthy home spiritually from God. The story of the leprechauns in Ireland have dwarf spirts also and they deliver gold to the chosen and it translates to minerals in real life. You will notice most of the mines are owned by the Africans families not Europeans but they allow the Europeans to benefit and dig but many many have died. They never report it. Too many deaths. This is why only 2% of Africa’s resources has been used. The rest is guarded by our spirits so we can’t take it from the ground. It belongs to God. This is why the Europeans like to use African miners because they would never survive and still we can’t take all the minerals it’s heavily guarded spiritually.

We are spiritual beings having a human experience and we once lived amongst the unseen in the past. They too live in their own dimensions with their own families in their world as much as we do and they communicate with us in our dreams if blessed just like our angels do. Each Voodoo ceremony and divination is guided by prayer first and it’s not defined/constrained by any religion. Coming from my interpretation, the brush(nature) giving gifts. Life and the food we take from nature should be respected and fear that it can all be taken away easily if we mistreat it. My culture in the U.S. represents this through people posing as animals and plants. That gave gifts, fruits and vegetables that were grown nearby(mostly givin to children). If the children misbehaved they didn't recieve much or anything at all.

@@cloudambient That reminds me of an old Welsh tradition called Mari Lwyd were one man would wear a sheet over him and control a horse skull on a stick with other dressing up as other folklore beings. the party would travel town and would go to houses and request entry through song and the residents would deny them entry through song until the owners relented and let the party in were they would be given food and drinks. The name either means Holy Mary or Grey Mare.
