It is a 1946 Ford coupe. Much modified though, chopped 5.5" in front, 7.5" in the back, channeled 2", sectioned 3", lengthened 12". Slanted b pillars, custom built hood, custom rear fenders, 47 Studebaker grill, 49 Plymouth tail lights, 49 Cadillac front and rear bumpers, 1952 Oldsmobile gauge cluster, 1946 Lincoln V12 steering wheel, 81 Camaro subframe, 350 Chevy engine with 3 2 barrel carbs, tri link rear suspension and Air Ride. Built as a tribute to Gene Winfield. Hope this helps.

I like Larry, he's a keeper of the old skool... Hot rods, in that traditional way! From 32 fords chopped and channeled, to lead sleds... they are all reminders of the best time ever for America... the 50's and 60's!

The term we use in our Kustom World is "floaters"... The "floating" wheel cover is basically mounted to the spindle, where it does not spin with the function of the wheel, but rather stays still with the spindle component of the suspension.

the only real thing that i think larry should do is open it up around the headlights with a thicker bezel, to give the appearance of a bigger headlight, because the headlights look a little too small since he widened the car so much. does anyone else agree? i am such a critic when it comes too proportioning, i cant help it. but none the less, larry did an awesome job!

That would be a pretty unique Idea. But the floater is actually mounted to the spindle and cannot move at all. It cannot spin with the wheel.

I think there is a bearing on the back and its heavy on the lower part. thats why it doesn't spins, but it can actually spin.
